In this description, a ‘boating community’ is more likely an area which provide a deep water inlet with access to the Gulf of Mexico. There are no areas in SW Florida with dockage actually in the Gulf of Mexico. All dockage and storage would be inland. The term ‘direct Gulf access’ is used to describe a waterway which has access to the Gulf but does not go under a bridge.
The listings provided through this search will provide all data on listings described by the listing agent as being in a ‘boating community’. It may have Gulf access or it may have a large lake in which there is some sort of boating available. As you get in to the higher price ranges, you will see listings which do have Gulf Access. Naming primary boating communities would take too long for this brief description. It is recommended you scroll down to your financial comfort level and then peruse the listings. The initial search is sorted from $200,000 and upward.
