The guarded, gated community of Pelican Landing is located in tropical Bonita Springs, FL. Encompassing 2,400 acres of land the community includes condos and single-family homes with a selection of design layouts. The abundance of amenities include 12 Har-Tru tennis courts with a very active tennis program, pro shop, fitness center, pool, access to boating, a 34-acre beach park along the gulf with an hourly shuttle, shallow craft boat slips, canoe launch with board walk and picnic area, and two dining facilities. While golf membership is optional equity, all other amenities to include the tennis club are bundled together with title to the property and pass to each new owner at closing without cost. The expense to use or maintain the tennis and other amenities are covered through the very reasonable master association HOA fees.
The master plan of some 2400 acres, is divided in to two separate and gated master communities – Pelican Landing being the original community and more recently, WCI split off a section and named it The Colony at Pelican Landing. Both communities have their own optional / equity golf courses and club houses. Both communities’ residential styles start from smaller but substantial condominium to villa products and on to larger estate homes with The Colony having several high rise buildings which offer Gulf views. There is something for everyone with very reasonable entry level prices to something considerably larger.
In November, 2013, current pricing ranged from $180,000 to $2,400,000 in Pelican Landing. In The Colony, prices ranged from $380,000 to $4,800,000.
